Mark P. O'Flynn
Controller, WGL Holdings and Washington Gas
Mark P. O'Flynn is the Controller of WGL Holdings and Washington Gas Light Company. Mr. O'Flynn oversees the areas of financial reporting; tax research, planning and compliance; accounting transaction processing; policies and procedures; and financial planning and control.
From 1999-2001, Mr. O'Flynn served as Vice President and Controller of GPU Energy, Inc., a public utility holding company with interests in regulated and non-regulated businesses. From 1997-1999, he served as an energy consultant and commodity trader for Arc Energy, a professional energy consulting practice. He served in various capacities with Columbia Gas and its affiliates from 1970-1997. He was Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer/Controller of Columbia Gas Transmission and Columbia Gulf Transmission from 1993-1997.
Mr. O'Flynn received his Bachelor of Science from Ohio State University and is a certified public accountant.
He is married to Joanne Marshall of Wilmington, Delaware.
