Who can participate in the Customer Choice Program?
Every commercial and group metered apartment customer in Maryland is eligible to participate in the program.
How do I participate?
If you choose to enroll in the program, you will need to sign a consent form with a natural gas supplier for a one-year gas supply agreement. At the end of one year, you can stay with the natural gas supplier you have chosen, select another supplier, or return to standard Washington Gas service.
When can I sign up for the program?
Enrollment is open every month throughout the year.
Who are the other natural gas suppliers?
These natural gas suppliers have been certified by Washington Gas as meeting certain financial and regulatory criteria. We recommend that if you decide to participate in the program that you contact and obtain service and pricing information from several suppliers.
