Adrian P. Chapman

 President and Chief Operating Officer, WGL Holdings, Inc. and Washington Gas

Adrian Chapman is the President and Chief Operating Officer for WGL Holdings, Inc. and Washington Gas.

Prior to being elected President and COO on October 1, 2009, Mr. Chapman served as the Vice President of Operations, Regulatory Affairs & Energy Acquisition for Washington Gas. He has worked for Washington Gas for 27 years in various capacities including Manager of Interruptible Customer Sales, Manager of Economic Analysis and Director of Regulatory Affairs. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the College of William and Mary in Virginia and his Master of Arts degree in Economics from George Mason University.

Mr. Chapman is on the Board of Directors of the North American Energy Standards Board, is on the Board of Directors of the Virginia Utility Protection Service, is the Past Chair of the American Gas Association Rate and Strategic Issues Committee, and is the chair of the Southern Gas Association's Gas Supply Marketing Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Fairfax County, Virginia Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Fairfax County Economic Advisory Commission.
