Who can participate in the Customer Choice Program?
All Shenandoah Gas residential customers are eligible to participate.
How do I participate in this program?
Contact and obtain service and pricing information from several suppliers. Once you choose a supplier, you will be asked to enroll in the program by signing a consent form that acknowledges you have read the supplier’s agreement and the Washington Gas fact sheet.
When can I sign up for the program?
Enrollment is open every month throughout the year.
Who are the other natural gas suppliers?
These natural gas suppliers have been certified by Washington Gas as meeting certain financial and regulatory criteria. We recommend that if you decide to participate in Customer Choice Program that you contact and obtain service and pricing information from several suppliers.

How do I make a cost comparison of the participating natural gas suppliers?
Using the Washington Gas Historic Gas Price Comparison table, you can compare suppliers’ quoted gas prices for the coming year with Washington Gas’ historical prices from the previous year.
